If I could give it negative stars, I would. Among many many many other things (flying in a damaged plane, not allowing access to the bathroom even in your period because the seat belt sign is on - for the entire flight-etc)... the worst is that I originally booked a flight from IND to San Juan departing at 6AM and giving me an overlay of about two hours for the next flight.

When checking in for the first flight, I find out the flight had changed. It was now leaving at 830AM and giving me a ten minute window to run on an injured knee from G13 to K15. I almost lost my boarding time. Such a window is inhumane and should not be allowed, especially when I booked a completely different time and a wider connection window. If I wanted to change it, I had to pay and even if I did, there were no flights available.

No assistance was provided, I asked people driving golf cars for assistance and they came up with excuses. I injured my knee even more by running with a carry on and a personal item. Since AA is probably the only airline that charges horrible fees to check in bags.

I was traveling with someone who left at an earlier flight, they did the same thing to her but, her first flight left late and the second one left earlier because no one responded to the name call (duh). So four passengers were left out at the airport. They told them they should've taken the shuttle but, when you have 10 minutes to get somewhere, you can't really stop by and research how to get there the fastest.

They didn't want to cover hotel costs, or food and didn't try too hard to find a replacement trip back. I had to search the internet as fast as I could to locate an available flight. Once notified of the flight, the representative "found" a space in that flight.

Never again traveling with AA. Never. Never. Never. Never. Never. Never. Never. Never. Never. Never. Not worth the savings if you are going to end up paying for hotel stays, or injuring yourself while running from one end to another. Never. Never.

First time with them and the last. It is also the first time I've had an inhumane 10 minute layover. I wonder what they tell those in wheelchairs, children traveling alone, older individuals with limited mobility....
