In theory I love this place. I’ve been really loving the ramen and appetizers here, and it’s a great place to stay for awhile and read or study. I want this place to succeed but the prices seem a little high for the quality and quantity. I had a bite of pork belly once that was partially cold in broth that wasn’t piping hot anymore. Furthermore, it can get a bit awkward when there’s no one there and the owner or chef is hanging out at the table next to you because there’s nothing for him to do. My main feeling though is that if they just gave the space a deep clean, took down all the handmade signs put up with tape, and got rid of some of the random, dusty junk and old plants everywhere, a lot more people would hang out there.
