Cosi at 116 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois.

Used to love this place for breakfast or lunch, but since the start of the year, it seems like they are cutting corners on the great food they used to have. They no longer make their delicious squagels, they import bland, flavorless bagels. Their coffee it's watered down to the point of being undrinkable, their salads have shrunk to being barely enough for a meal, the sandwiches have gotten greasy and processed tasting... All that's left is to get rid of their homemade bread and the transition will be complete.

They used to be heads above Starbucks and the like for food, but now I'll choose Au Bon Pain or Pret a Manger over Cosi any day. Real shame, losing my favorite spot in the loop for a quick bite.

The food was fine, but I had a very uncomfortable experience with one of the staff members. For some reason one of them found it appropriate to approach me and tell me that I am a "very attractive woman." I was visibly uncomfortable and did not reciprocate the attention at all, yet he lurked around my table (I was there alone, at night, and had picked a table at a spot where there weren't many people sitting nearby). At one point he just stood right next to my table for several minutes until I finally felt so uncomfortable I stood up and left. Very unprofessional, felt harassed.
