A really great shelter that genuinely cares about the finding the best forever homes for their animals. Also very clean and all the dogs are in relatively spacious rooms (aka no cages) with lots of toys. I've heard a lot of people get upset about restrictions on certain dogs (no kids, everyone in household must meet dogs before adopting, no cats), but this is all based on prior behavior testing, and to make sure the dog will fit in with the family and their lifestyle. PAWS is a really special place and the employees and volunteers work tirelessly to help these animals find their future owners!!!

If you rent an apartment PLEASE bring your lease or the landlord can call to verify you can have a pet and how big.
The experience there was very professional and experienced and the animals are taken care of. They really love the animals there and the animals are not caged up they have their room and you get to interact with the pets.
The staff is very very helpful and knowledgeable. They take the time to explain any questions. I would recommend PAWS to anyone that's looking to adopt a dog or cat. They let you know upfront if the animals have any issues. Thanks Paws for a nice experience. ♥️
